Kangaroo Kids and Billabong High International School celebrated The India Day on 14thAugust ‘08 at the school premises. The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by the national anthem. The Programme commenced with the welcome address by the center head. Drishtant (grade III) and Priyanshu (grade III) spoke about Independence in English and Hindi respectively.

The KG children recited a Hindi poem followed by a group song by Grade I and III students. There was a fancy dress competition in which the children dressed as our national leaders. At the end there was a group song by the teachers.
