A Healthy Lunch Box Contest was held in the schools premises on 30th August 2008. The contest was open to all the parents of kangaroo Kids and Billabong High. The parents were given a choice of three categories of cuisine – continental, South Indian and North Indian. Dr Ishi Khosla, a renowned health councilor and nutritionist also organized a workshop. The parents who participated in the Healthy Lunch Box Contest attended this. The theme of the Workshop was ‘Diet & Nutrition’ in which the parents were told of the significance of a balanced diet for children vis a vis junk food.
