An Inter school Elocution Competition was organized at Billabong High International School on 30th July '2008 .

The children from different schools of Noida were invited for the event. They were categorized into three groups - K.G, Grade I- II, III- V. The topics were given to the children in advance. One child from each group represented their respective schools.

There was a great enthusiasm amongst all the participants and their respective teachers .All the participants were brilliant in their performances.

The judges of the event were Professor Dr. Madhulika and Ms. Swagata Sen Pillai.

Professor (Dr.) Madhulika Jha is a Director of Amity Institute of English and Business Communication. She is a prolific contributor to the academics with her specialization in linguistic and language teaching.

Ms.Swagata Sen Pillai has a multitude of artistic influences since childhood. She has graduated in Bharatnatyam from Kalakshetra, Chennai. She is also running an institute of Bharatnatyam- Kinkini Dwani at Noida.

Results of the event were declared at the end of the programme and refreshments were served to all the participants and staffs of the different schools.

It was a huge success.
